About Wildfire Software

Who are we?

Wildfire Software, originally based in Northumberland (in the North East of the UK) but now in the Scottish Borders, is made up of a dedicated team of software developers, project managers (who, of course, are ex-developers!), and administrative staff as you would expect.

Our developers strive to continually expand their skills, learning new languages, new versions and improving on their current abilities in order to provide you, our (potential) customers with the best service possible.

Our history...

The senior members of the Wildfire Software team have been working in the industry since the early 90s, and have seen the technology advance from the good old days of 086 processors (before even co-processors became common!) through the complete Pentium range. We even remember the days when people said who needs more than 640K of memory. Now it's more like who can cope with less than 1Gb of memory!

Not only do we have the skills to handle your development task, but we strongly believe in the personal touch. We work closely with our customers, working towards the best possible solution - and we are not afraid to offer honest advice if desired!

Although we are based in the wild North, we have no specific geographic area of work - and can undertake your project no matter where you are! We have access to a full range of teleconference facilities, but if you are mainland based can easily setup person-to-person meetings where required.
